Masimo, a Danaher company, has hired Tim Benner as its new president, effective August 3.

Since joining Masimo in June 2025, Benner has helped shape the company’s strategy, strengthen customer relationships, and lead its commercial organization through the transition following Danaher’s acquisition of Masimo. His appointment reflects confidence in his ability to guide the company’s next phase of growth.

Benner boasts over three decades of executive leadership tenure in the medtech industry. This includes leadership positions at Abbott, Terumo, Inari Medical/Stryker and most recently Masimo.

As president, Benner will oversee Masimo’s global business, focusing on innovation, customer partnerships, commercial growth, and advancing the company’s patient monitoring technologies.

“It is an honor to serve as President of Masimo,” he told the press. “For more than three decades, Masimo has earned the trust of clinicians around the world by developing breakthrough technologies that improve patient care. As a Danaher company, we have an incredible opportunity to build on that legacy by combining Masimo’s spirit of innovation with the power of the Danaher Business System. I look forward to working alongside our talented associates and our customers as we continue delivering meaningful innovations that help improve outcomes for patients around the world.”

Danaher also announced that Diagnostics business leader Julie Sawyer Montgomery would be promoted to CEO today.

“Tim is a strong and experienced Masimo leader and has played an integral role in positioning the company for long-term success,” said Sawyer Montgomery. “His strategic leadership, deep understanding of customers and commitment to innovation make him the right leader for Masimo’s next chapter as a Danaher company.”
